Dale Powers & Friends performing at The Bookery Parable Christian Store, 2300 West Fourth Street, Mansfield,  FREE Friday Night Live Concert On The Lawn!  (Weather permitting...if it rains the show will go on inside!) This is the Kickoff of the Friday Night Live Monthly Concert Series at The Bookery.

Admission to the Concert On The Lawn is FREE! The Bookery Parable Christian Store will be collecting school supplies for children that are in need of educational materials. The Bookery Café will be open serving hot dogs, chips & beverages. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.

Tammie Owens, Manager of The Bookery, says, "We are so pleased to present Dale Powers & Friends to kickoff the 'Friday Night Live' Concert Series with this debut Concert On The Lawn and to collect school supplies for our local children in need of educational materials. Our mission is to bring the community closer together through wholesome family music that also supports a greater cause such as the education of our children.  The regular night for FNL is the second Friday each month."

Dale Powers says, "At Race Ministries we are delighted to contribute our musical evangelism to such a worthy event by Tammie and our friends at The Bookery Parable Christian Store.  We are praying for a nice turn out and collecting lots of school supplies to help local kids that need them as they pursue their educational goals.  Please tell your friends and we look forward to seeing you there!"

Event Follow Up: Dale Powers says, "Thank you to everyone for the great turn out, bringing so many school supplies for the kids, Tammie and her super staff at The Bookery for hosting the Concert On The Lawn and the News Journal for their ongoing support.  Special Thanks to Timmy T. Tadijanac for his double duty contribution by doing a great job with the sound and eqipment as well playing the bass all night.  I am very happy to see the Friday Night Concert Series have a successful kickoff and encourage the Christian community to continue enjoying the monthly live music shows and the ongoing fellowship provided by the events at The Bookery!"

RACE UNPLUGGED is Dale Powers, Dane Donohue and Terry Carbetta reunited
for this Benefit Concert with special guest Timmy T. Tadijanac on percussion

Dale's Comments: "It was really great to play with my bandmates again from back in the day!  Thanks to one and all for the excellent turnout to benefit Wounded Warriors.  Once again it shows how much we have to be grateful for.  So often our personal health and freedoms that we enjoy are taken for granted.  Not today!"

Featured Song On This Page: "Oh What A Night" from the Album "The Journey Within!"

Dale's comments: "Oh What A Night is a song inspired by what I believe is one of the three greatest events in history: the Birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Of course, the other two are His Crucifixion and Resurrection!  His Sacrifice fulfills Prophecy and makes our Salvation possible."

Prayer Request

Dale Powers and Race Ministries requests your prayers for the family of fellow Christian Musical Evangelist Kirk Stamper following the recent loss of his son, Ryan.  Your prayers for Kirk, Carla and their family are most greatly appreciated.

In Memorian

Dale Powers says, "It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of a Race Ministries family member.  Marla Cook was the fiancee of my dear friend and bandmate, Rich Carmichael.  She was also a tremendous supporter of this Christian Musical Evangelism.  Marla was an avid photographer and was with us for many of our performances.  Her enthusiasm and smiling face will be missed by all of us.  The Race Ministries family and friends offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and Rich as we also celebrate her life as she has departed to spend eternity with the Lord."
